I was there too. Larry Graham walked right past me as he made his way to the stage... . "You don't frighten us, English pig dogs. Go and boil your bottoms, sons of a silly person."

Me, me, me I was there!! I saw him twice in one year. The first time which was my very first Prince concert, was January 18, 1997 in Birmingham, AL for the Love4oneanother Tour which spilled over in2 the Jam of The Year tour. Then I saw him again for the Jam of The Year tour in Mobile, AL on Halloween night, October 31, 1997. That was the best year I have had in a long time. 2 get to see Prince twice in one year was amazing. Setlist for both were almost the same but I didn't care.

Went 2 the Wembly Arena concert, The last show i will ever go 2 there, I was miles away from the stage and couldn't see anything. What made up for it was the Aftershow in Londons Hippodrome. great show and it was not even half full.

I didn't like this tour that much (Larry on stage for what seemed like an eternity before Prince finally showed up), but i do have great memories of it.
Prince performed in my hometown of Utrecht, which had happened previously only in 1987... Candy and Lenni played some guest segments... then it was on to the aftershow which was all in all a good 300 feet from my house The aftershow was in the typical small club, and this club has like a second floor with very comfortable seats that give you a great view of the stage. When i entered the club, they had posted one of P's bodyguards in front of the door to that second floor, it was reserved for guests and the band themselves (there's a second bar there as well). Little did that bodyguard know there's also a second door to that second floor Suffice to say me and my then brand-new girlfriend had an amazing time as we mixed in with P's guests and had excellent seats watching Prince and Lenni perform till the sun came up.
