just letting you all know, for no other reason than im bored of (not) doing my essay, that the very best of prince is STILL a fiver on amazon and holding very nicely at number 20 on the charts. its funny cos they are updated hourly and the rest of the chart has chopped andchanged abit, but thats holding there. another amusing thing is right above it at 19 is none other than Thriller, which is also a fiver amazingly enough!

its a good mostly mindless pop album,in fact its a very good album, but there is some shit on it, and the special edition is pretty pants too. i was just surprised it was a fiver cos its such a famous album, but its supply and demand, the more people who want it, the cheaper it stays, thats why its nice prince is still there. once again...2004 could be big! lol

oooh the very best of is up to number 15 now! thriller still in the same place, its updated hourly so as i say, could bounce up and down constantly

whats funny is the cd is delivery between 1 and 2 weeks. for such a high up cd i would have thought it would be 24 hour delivery

plus does anyone know how many the top 20 usually sell a week at amazon, i tried emailing them but theyre so shit at telling you.

its not on the official top 40 album charts so clearly still not selling in huge amounts! shame!

its www.amazon.co.uk that the album is still on 15 for the past few hours, meanwhile thriller has dropped to 21, i have a feeling that cos its done hourly, surely alot of the positions change simply through one order sort of thing. once youre up there though you start getting promoted by amazon and can stay up there.

wowee! its now up to 11 on the amazon charts! its the 11th best selling cd they have at the moment! thriller is down to 22 or something (hehe).

i really want to know how many cds amazon sell a week though, cos the top ten are pretty much all on the charts on top of the pops official top 40, but prince is nowhere yet the 11th biggest selling album on amazon at the moment.
