I'm with you Lisa!
I mean, the man isn't exactly a succesful business man, but he still makes enough music that makes the trip worthwhile. Sorry, I am really drunk at this time, but I AM trying to make some sort of sense. good post by the wat, Lisa. You must be a lovely girl since I've been reading your highlt enjoyable posts for quite a while now and you seem to be a nice person. My point is, if you allow me to get to this, that Prince still makes music that is worth listening to. IMHO. I mean, come on, if P would have come up with something like ONA or The Truth, or even TRC for that matter, ya'all would have freaked, and all the critics with you. But this is 2004... This is no longer the 80s, when you could dress the way you wanted, enjoy the music that was on the telly, truly believe that Reagan and the western policy makers were the good guys, etc. This is the 21st century... away with originality, away with positivity, etc. Iraq must be bombed people, Afghanistan also. Maybe Iran is next, Syria anyone?... The American people don't seem to realize that the New World is no longer theirs anymore. Listen to Hollywood, listen to Moore. We have to change the way of treating this world. The world has become too serious!!! The 80s were a dream. Please ignore this post. 555-4444 you're on coffee talk.

I saw that Rave 1999 special and his performance sucked. Why does he have to use horns? Horns suck! And that larry guy looked like an old sharecropper.

I still have it, Lisa.
And of course, I looove hornz, and especially if Maceo and Greg are on them. It's a pleasure to watch Prince playing with those "monsters".

I agree...it has looked bad a couple of times and he always come back with more brilliant music. I think he still has some great songs left in him.

Yes, horns suck most of the time the way Prince uses them. He lets people solo too much and they ruin the groove. Sometimes they are used as part of the groove like with The Sex Of It and they work.

If I was Prince i wouls get so scared of some of my fans!!! Everybody seem to have nothing else in their life but their own prince and when the guys gets "old" (in the sense of getting more mature) they say: oh he's not funky anymore!!! Grow up people and get a life of your own!! [This message was edited Sat Jan 3 10:04:53 PST 2004 by klaatu] "Goodness will guide us when love is inside of us...
