happy new year--what Ive learned this past year purple-wise

It has been a year of highs and lows..NEWS and The Family Jam were big happenings..the Prince Forum boards got some life from the 02 jumpstart...as I put on my black sheer panty hose and tuck it in..and put on my foundation..as well as get my mascara on so it doesn't smudge...and as I shave my legs, and apply the perfect amount of lip gloss...and arch my eyebrows so they are fierce...and put on my wonderbra I realize...

I got slapped hard...

I realize now that I had no grasp on Prince and his ways etc ...thought I knew it all...I would have almost bet my life that he would have attended the Fam Jam and performed..I thought he would have preped big time for this next year in certain ways..I thouhgt his show and site would be something different

I realize now and it was a hard lesson learned..when folks said "I will clown when Prince does not show up" I felt how could they say that? Prince WILL be there and if not performing, he will make a statement to the audience etc..truly I believed that..

this year has taught me to become a somewhat of a pessimist..well a realist maybe..realist in that I shoiuld know not to expect certain things and othe r people already know these things..supernova, aaron, etc...

I must not get my hopes up..as handclaps already knows as well as others..countless ayings of "expect nothing"

I think thats the biggest thing of purple that I have learned this year..is to not expect anything..

its just difficult to do that..his music is exciting to me and its not lkike some Journey type artist just dropping a record..with Prince you get a circus along with it so its hard not to get caught up in it sometimes...

not that its abad thing but Ive learned to respect the power of love..opps that was Anglea WEinbush tee hee..I gues Ive learned overal t not expect a damn thing..and to expect the exact opposite of what would normally happen

now that Im unpretty and a mess but made up in my best dress I realize after 20 years with him ultimately and 5 here with yall that its a rollercoaster...that changes tracks each go round...Viper

And we've all learned that you shouldn't take a picture of Prince if you see him at the airport.
