I love this song, and I've just listened to it three times in a row. My favorite line in it is "You're filthy cute and, baby, you know it!"

I've always liked it even though alot of Prince fans seem to hate it.

It's an excellent pop song imho.

btw, that is my favourite line along with "you've got the horn so why dont you blow it".

I like it too...it's a nice pop song with basic pop song structure, good melody, verses, lyrics, etc. I wish he would do more straightforward, well-executed stuff lik this these days.

I agree that "Cream" is a wonderfully catchy and clever song. I knew the first time I heard it that I would hear it that whole summer. I almost made "look up in the air, it's your guitar!" my signature. In fact, I still might do it when my current sig gets old to me. In the meantime, feel free to snatch that up, 'cause it's a great line!!
