song of the day "Golden Parachute/S&M Groove" For me, two of the best songs from the npgmc this far.
I love Golden Parachute because of it's laid back feel and because he took his time on this one. It just gets better and better and goes deeper and deeper. The last bit of instrumental jazzy flow is so nice. And well, "Sadomasochistic Groove" was one of the last real Prince pounding songs. Nice beat, nice biting vox washed through whatever the hell kind of aparatus and, most notably a slice of guitar mixed through the funk. Yey! and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

I absolutely adore both of those songs, IstenSzek. Golden Parachute is SLINKY, and S&M makes me wanna dance. I love the lyrics to both of them...even a few years ago Prince was still able to write decent lyrics when he tried. No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.
