The Line appreciation thread.

I almost reach orgasm when it fades back in with the church organ!

Well I sure prefer it to I Wish U Heaven (not to knock that song), but The Line is like Prince doing House music, it's like Purple Music, it's hypnotic.

You all doin' the Kangaroo?!

The Line is awesome. Love the little funky guitar licks (used in a similar way in The Future on Batman).

When Prince put that it was a "dope track" and (I think) hinted it would be released in the future on the Crystal Ball liner notes I was very excited. Of course, it hasn't surfaced yet...
Just somewhere in the middle,

If it hasn't surfaced, how have you guys heard it?? It seems I'm always missing out. I remember him mentioning "The Line" in the Crystal Ball liner notes, but I have still never heard that track. sigh

If you have never hear this then I pity you.

This Lovesexy leftover is a rousing, hypnotic groove that truly deserves to see the light of day. I too was looking forward to its release on Crystal Ball II.

'Lovesexy' leftover? Wow, did'nt realize it was that old. Did P ever make the song available online? I guess any versions that are out now must be boots then. This is what I get for living in Ohio!!

It seems like all the unreleased stuff from the 80's is way better than the 90's and 2000 music!

You're a misery guts. A bit like Victor Meldrew.

And a nostalgist to boot.
