is it just me or.... is it just me, or does "the cross" sound better live?
im listing to it now off the "sign o the times" album, and i remember watching PRINCE perform this song on "rave un2 the year 2000" and "LoVeSeXy" and PRINCE's voice sounds so much better when he sings this song live, and the guitar solo sounds better live also, but hter only a few songs i like to PRINCE to sing live, and this is my favourite. any one else feel the same? I think The Cross is greatly improved when performed live.
...except when it's turned into the christ of course.

The album version has a live sound to it - it's definitely one for the stage. A lot of that album is, I think.

I thought it was re-named The Christ? All the gals say hoe if your man's giving up the gold. All the fellas say ruff if you're only giving up the bone.

Ah, The Cross live. One of the greatest concert moments anywhere. That epic ending...
