About the picture(Prince&Mani) with Prince Holding somethin' special !!

there is news from P. The PPs have been buzzing the club about tours and the new album for last few nights in npgmc chat. I really think that this phoho is a preview 2 the new album, cos there is going 2 b one, if not then the PPs have been stirring up lies and they dont do that.

I think 2004 is going 2 b a big year for Prince and us

Considering that his last vocal studio album released in stores (TRC) came out over two years ago, I would be shocked if there is no new studio album released to stores in 2003. He's had plenty of time to record new material, and I'm sure a new album (Musicology or something else) is not far away.

Interestingly, whenever his new studio album comes out, it will be the longest gap in his career between the release of a studio album with vocals to stores.

Now I'm really curious. Will it be a best of cd with Musicology as an unreleased track, or will it be an all-new album?

I hope for the latter of course, but I also wish that the tour will support both old (in the light of the Purple Rain anniversary) as well as new songs.

It's either a copy of the rumored new "best of" album (god, I hope not) or it's a copy of a bootleg, and the picture is kind of a day-late/dollar-short message to bootleggers...either way, the picture looks like it was taken around '92/'93...which, perhaps significantly, is the same time pics were taken of him for "The Hits/The B-Sides".
