1) The Hits. The whole damn collection, including the B-sides are all chopped up... They even sliced up Adore.

2) Diamonds And Pearls. Sorry folks... only a couple of tunes I dig.

3) GOLD. Sorry again. Maybe only three cuts I care about. Unlike everyone on the org, I can't stand Pussy Control.

4) Rave... Some cool stuff, but that's it. There was 2 much anticipation with this album being "produced by an old friend", which was Prince.

Nearly every other album has value 2 me... I love Batman, like NPS, like Come, like the symbol album, and I'm an old school Prince Head.

Peace,

G.

Then Of course there's New Power Soul, Oh Lawrd What can I say about New Power Soul except it collects dust in my collection and I often use it for a table coaster. The One had alot potential, but at this point I don't the average sign of things were changing and they'd never be quit the same. I've tried 2 get in2 this album but just couldn't. I think many would agree this was the beginning of Prince commercial failure...
audience was wanting 2 hear anything from Prince anymore. Although I hate 2 say , it's true.

This album is great! Its dark, funky and possibly his best output of the 90s!

You're all crazy!

NPS songs are very good live but on their studio version are crap! The album is so weak and repetitive. Probably the only two songs that I would save are The one and Until ure in my arms again

I agree with DigitalLisa about Come: it is the beginning of the end. It gives you the idea of an album made without any attention. It was the first that I have had this sensation with Prince (and unfortunately it has not been not so rare during the 90's)

Emancipation, it was supposed 2 be Prince commercial come back, but I don't even think he had one hit off this 3 disc album..

I don't see how anybody could say anything bad about Emancipation or Newpower Soul. For the longest time, Emancipation was my favorite Prince / prince CD. I think it was some of his best work. And Newpower Soul is just pure FUNK, and I love listening to that CD!!
