audience was wanting 2 hear anything from Prince anymore. Although I hate 2 say , it's true.  This album is great! Its dark, funky and possibly his best output of the 90s! You're all crazy! | |

NPS songs are very good live but on their studio version are crap! The album is so weak and repetitive. Probably the only two songs that I would save are The one and Until ure in my arms again I agree with DigitalLisa about Come: it is the beginning of the end. It gives you the idea of an album made without any attention. It was the first that I have had this sensation with Prince (and unfortunately it has not been not so rare during the 90's) As one door closes, another opens... | |

Emancipation, it was supposed 2 be Prince commercial come back, but I don't even think he had one hit off this 3 disc album..
Then Of course there's New Power Soul, Oh Lawrd What can I say about New Power Soul except it collects dust in my collection and I often use it for a table coaster. The One had alot potential, but at this point I don't the average audience was wanting 2 hear anything from Prince anymore. Although I hate 2 say , it's true.
I don't see how anybody could say anything bad about Emancipation or Newpower Soul. For the longest time, Emancipation was my favorite Prince /  CD. I think it was some of his best work. And Newpower Soul is just pure FUNK, and I love listening to that CD!! | |
