who saw p in aussie, china, or hawaii?

Did he dance much? Did he do any splits or spins?

I was there. Not an awful lot of dancing, but enough. Mostly walked up and down the stage the night. Not that it wasn't a TOTAL FUCKING BLAST!!!. I don't think there were any splits or spins.

I was at the Australian shows, not much dancing, no splits or spins. I think if you read the reviews people gave over in the concert forum you will get an idea of what the shows were like. I think the tour should be named RAW. Which is exactly what it was, RAW, stripped down and basic. No fancy stage sets or lighting shows, no multitude of costume changes, no dancers, no pyro technics. It was all about the music. Whilst there were many of his hits they were all re-arranged, lyric changes etc.

Now whilst all of this sounds a bit negative for me it was the biggest plus. Having been to well over 100 shows it was a real treat just to see Prince the musician. For those who have only seen arena performances and no aftershows, this is what you have been missing. Much of it was like one big jam session and hot damn it was funky!!
In the distance a light shines and I know it is mine. Someday I will touch it because it calls me. It says cross the line, cross the line. I know everything is not always what it seems, so I pinch myself daily just in case it's a dream

Nothing fancy!! Once in Brisbane he lied down on the stage with his guitar, a little like the old days, but not for very long at all.
It was my first ever, and i was just totally blown away!!
The best night of my life, for quite some time.
No one ever became extremely wicked suddenly.

Yeah, In Sydney the dancing was minimal. Cuz he's doing all the guitar work, there was less chance for him to stretch out with the dancing. He did do some small footwork during the show, but not on the scale of the 'ol dayz. That didn't matter, the concert was 1st rate thumbs up!

I went to both sydney shows. On the 2nd night I was right stage 4 rows from the front. This night, when he sang The Beautiful Ones, he laid on his back right in front of me same as in the classic scene from the movie when he is screaming "baby, baby, baby I want you". You know the one.

The best 2 nights in a long time.

awesome...did you go with Anthony or just see him there?

I was at the Sydney show. It was an absolute blast, Prince still "has it" live, regardless or whether or not his studio albums are any good.

No he didn't do the splits, he didn't get buck wild..but he was still absolutely incredible, and he really bounced off the audience.
