If I recall correctly, there was a single release of Peach to promote the Hits 1 and 2 and the B-sides. I remember, and I think it was an England import, there were two releases of Peach, and one of the releases was this foldable digipak.

When you bought one of the singles, it was in a clear cd slimcase. When you purchased the digipak, on one side there is a disc and the other side was a cardboard placeholder. So, once I purchased both of them I placed the cardboard placeholder in the slimcase.

One of the discs included Money Don't Matter and Mountains and the single edit of Peach. The other Peach single CD included My Name Is Prince and Partyman I do believe.

Kind of like the cover -- pink and with a slice of peach on it.

I just wish though that there were complete version of his B-side joints instead of edits of Hello and Scarlet Pussy and the like.

There were 2 of these 2 CD sets released which tied in with the 'Hits' release:

3. Glam Slam
4. D.M.S.R.

Part 2

1. Controversy
2. Anotherloverholenyohead
3. Paisley Park
4. New Power Generation (Pt II)

Peach

Part 1

1. Peach
2. Mountains (album version)
3. Partyman (edit)
4. Money Don't Matter 2Nite

Part 2

1. Peach
2. I Wish U Heaven
3. Girls And Boys (edit)
4. My Name Is Prince (edit)

Additionally there was the tie-in release of versions of 'Pink Cashmere'
ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.

"Let's Work" really should have made the cut.It was a big R&B hit in 1981/82.

Paisley Park was on the single for Pink Cashmere along with GLAM SLAM. I still dunno Y GLAM SLAM should B in large letters when the rest of the tracks are in small letters.

I wish that Warners would come out with an expanded greatest hits set with all the tracks from the original and everything else you guys mentioned (CERTAINLY needs to have Batdance and Arms of Orion on there, as well as My Name Is Prince) and it should have all the b-sides that were missed, and all of them should be the full-length 12" versions. No edits!!! I would fucking ooze sperm over that one. I have it all, but to have it all together, in perfect CD quality, with nice liner notes and packaging (WB would do a MUCH better job with this than Prince himself would, that's pretty obvious).

I'm so ready to drop some serious dough on that, and I'm more broke than NIN's second album.

Oh come on... If Warners had any brains and a sense of mean spiritness, they would hire some of the hottest djs and release a three disc remix cd. Hell, if Prince ever listened to his fans, he would have done this by now.

So anyway, if the Hits were to be rehashed, why not put in pout-takes (i.e. bootlegs) like Snowman, Train, Wendy's Parade, Wonderful Ass, Witness, the music from Jefrey B's Ballet...?
