New boot release of Xenophobia Celebration set...anyone heard it? I just got the promo 12-track sampler thingy, and HOLY SCHNIG!!! that blows the pants off of what I had previously heard...
Stymie, if the version that you heard of these shows brought you to tears, and if this sampler is ANY indication of the amazing quality of the rest of the set...grrrl, we NEEDS to get our hands on this shit and get together so we can laugh, and cry...I'm gettin' all drippy jess THANKIN' about it.  No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

I think it's fucking neurotic how I'm somehow forced to comment on every thread I start AT LEAST once before anyone else does. But, yeah.

Last I heard there was a production delay with the set. Hopfully they will sart shipping next week. | |

Thanks m3ta...forgot about that thread...sorta. That's actually what got me outta bed last night at 2 am looking for this promo.
Has anyone else heard it, and if so what are your thoughts? Are you excited about getting the whole release? There's some stuff on there I DON'T need to hear again (like God, for example, GAWD)...but there's some hot shit on there, no doubt. Mhhmmm, the promo is pretty good stuff.
I woulda been happy with my Premium release till I heard about this.The sound quality (judging from he promo) sounds nearly soundboard (too many sounds there?). Just another reason why Prince should stop BITCHING about bootleggers, and give his fans releases like this. | |

Does the Sabotage version have Power Fantastic on it, or did the bootleggers come back in too late (like me) after we had to leave the building ?

I have the flyer for it on my hard drive at home, but I'll check tonight if nobody else knows. Although personally, I don't see what the HUGE deal is with Power Fantastic. I mean the Just My Imagination of the set is Empty Room, good LORD. I really dig the one from CNote, but the Celly one is OUT OF THIS WORLD. No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.
