The ? of U-->The One-->Fallin' makes 2Nigs United 4 West Rotterdam the best ONA aftershow!

I was listening to 2NigsUnited4WestRotterdam and I can't get over the amazing first set where Prince does The Question of U which flows directly into The One which then gets real jazzy with Candy Dulfer doing a sax solo which then flows into a cover of Alicia Key's Fallin which then flows into an amzing John Blackweel drum solo. This 3 song jam for me makes 2 Nigs the best ONA aftershow available. What is your favorite ONA aftershow and why?
Whatever it is, it´s got to be PHUNKy!!!

I was there and it's darn good but Paris is better (which I wasn't at). But it is safe to say Nighttown, Bataclan, London and Copenhagen were tops of 2002.

Yes, the ? of U and The One are just amazing. I've never been a fan of The One and always thought it sounded a bit of a forced ballad, but the arrangement and the way he sings with the guitar at Rottenrdam is fantastic.. I didn't notice Falling was even in there? I don't listen to the radio so I might not know the song (!)

Not to forget the intro and that blistering performance of Whole Lotta Love, and we're still only talking about the first set!
Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop.

Hell no... The Nighttown, Bataclan and Spirit aftershows were the tops of 2002... London and Copenhagen were just ok IMO... But the Antwerp soundcheck was the real treat...

Antwerpen soundcheck was indeed amazing...I truly believe it was an aftershow - only "before" -- I enjoyed it as much as Nighttown (if not more).

I cannot agree with you more, but when will the recording of this "soundcheck" show up? I just cannot believe it wasn't taped. sad

Sometimes these gems just slip away...as was the case with the Sydney aftershow Oct 25th 2003...

PS. The ? of U/The One/Fallin medley is included in the current setlist on this tour...it did sound fantastic.

Which part of the show makes Nighttown, Bataclan, London and Copenhagen compare with Rotterdam?? Please give me the info! Cause if you're right, then I guess I need to obviously invest in those cds, right??

Rotterdam is Nighttown and yes - you sure do need Paris Batalclan, Vega Copengahen etc...all essentials of 2002
