I just got a copy of SOTT that BRAVE put out on DVD, and in my opinion, it doesn't look much better then the Video Tape. I guess within the transfer from laserdisc to DVD it lost something, or the laserdisc wasn't that much to begin with or... Maybe I'm just spoiled by current technology.

i recently went on a hunt for the SOTT dvd as well. i looked online and in stores and the only one i was able to find was released by "Studio Gabia" <- some kind of spanish company. the region is "ALL", but everything in in Spanish including the words on the case and the menus...not to bad though. there are a few places where the audio pops and clicks, but it was better than my previous recorded television version of the concert.


o and btw it proclaims to be in 5.1, well it seems that the sound plays equally out of all 6 speakers.

I've heard a lot of complaints about that dvd from Brazil. People say the video quality is very bad.

The laserdisc is as good as a laserdisc gets. I havent seen anything better and I am glad I bought it when I did. I will wait for a legit DVD release
