...as for a record deal, i honestly don't think he is.

He's probably beyond "looking", but that's just a vibe I'm getting lately.

I think if one came along that gave him enough $$$ for his ego, as an advance, he would snatch it up like a street-walker takes crack from her pimp.

I think it is Prince's turn. it is 2004, he is going into the Rock hall, he old a BUNCH of DVD's for Hip -O

I think Hip-O is going to work something out with him.

IF NOT.. he still can do it on his level.. Release a Purple Rain 2 Disk remake album.. all the songs,b sides, unreleased songs. (he recorded most of this when he was re-recoding his whole Warners Catalog..) sooo why not release it now?!!plus he can do a Tour.

Either way.. With the Big Boys or on his Own. He will be loaded!

He should just keep touring till he dies. Cut an album here and there and tour his ass off. If it's money he is after, this is the way to go. Screw the record deals!

i'd be very surprised if he'd go after a traditional record deal. He's too smart for that game now. He's making a far bigger piece of the pie now with his independent everything.

I think he should try and get on the one television show with Puffy, "making the band". I'm sure he would do well.

Most years he throws something up on New Years Eve / Day on NPGMC, wonder if there is something good around the corner?

I doubt Prince is a stupid enough business man not to capitalize on this upcoming year, with the Rock Hall and the Purple Rain anniversary all coming up.

Then again, this is Prince we're talking about.
