Prince on Television December 26th ATTENTION MINNESOTA RESIDENTS!!
Flipping through the Star Tribune, A local newspaper in Minnesota I noticed that Prince had a show to broadcast on KSTC (channel 45) here in Minneapolis. I then Checked my TIVO and looked up the time and date listed. It's True! This is what it says: The Minnesota Musician is Joined by Lenny Kravitz, Sly & Family Stone, Rose Gaines and others at his Paisley Park Studios. Sounds like the "Rave into the Year 2000" is gonna be Broadcast... Cool

The Show has already began Broadcasting in many different parts of the states already, just this past weekend...NewPowerDetroit Xperienced Rave Un2 The Year2000 on WB20...Which was great to see on National Television, the show was edited, but lasted 2hours with commercials, plus a bonus clip was thrown in after Baby Knows...which was really cool...The Show was awesome to watch on TV for the 4 time...because In Demand re-broadcast the show a few more times and VH1 also Broadcast a 30minute Edit of the show back in 2000!
So its great to see that most of America will xperience such a great event from PRINCE,being that alot of those who will see it, havent seen PRINCE in years and doesn't know he still looks great, plays great, sings great and has that appeal still! I was getting calls from PPL who hadnt seen the show and asked me was it new and they were really enjoying the music and performances...and one thing they were curious to know, was he getting ready to make a comeback! LOL I just laughed and stated, he's never gone anywhere..but did inform them of the R&R Hall Of Fame and Grammy Nomination, plus a tour, and possibly a new album in 2004...so lets get the word out, so Prince can make a splash in the new year...at least get him a TOP 10 Record and A Video on a Major Music Television Network! Oh by the way...Qudus from Mtv's TRL...mentioned PRINCE This past week and calling him a genius and looking forward to some new funk in the new year! He said to the audience of Teens, if ain't up on PRINCE, go get a few of his albums and he knows they'd be hooked. He suggested 'Purple Rain, 1999, Sign O' Times, Diamonds and Pearls and The Gold Experience, plus The Hits/B-Sides Collection...so atleast someones doing the work on major T.V. I thought that was kinda cool...they spend atleast a minute on PRINCE, because they recieved a call from Minnesota. Great work Qudus... anyways...Minni enjoy your RAVE BROADCAST, Definitely worth seeing it on T.V. again. Happy Holidays www.newpowerdetroit.com

It's neat that this is airing again -- but I was really disappointed with this concert. My least-favorite Prince performance EVER. I would rather watch the lip-syncing on Grafitti Bridge than this concert. Even Lenny sounded bad to me. Blah. Check out The Mountains and the Sea, a Prince podcast by yours truly and my wife.
