Yep some areas are too layered, I think. It would benefit from being stripped back in parts for a rawer sound. | |

I like diamonds and pearls. it was a consistent album all the way thru. it was also a good seller with several
chart toppers. Nothing since then has done as well. this is an easy question peoples! | |

I'm not sure if this was pointed out already, but the original version/test pressing of Come was an even better album. It had Interactive and Endorphinmachine on it,along with Strays of the World. I guess that's really the album that I think of when I say it was a great album. The released version is damn good and has some great songs on it, but I guess I wouldn't call it great overall.
But Race, Loose, and Papa are three of his best 90s songs. And to hear a great version of "Come" live, track down the aftershow from the DNA lounge from '92 or '93..classic...that whole show was too funky. | |
