What Live Footage is out there circulating? I hope this isn't breaking the rules...I'm not asking WHERE to get any of it...just wanna know WHAT is out there circulating.
has anyone compiled a list of whats out there? Any Rehearsals? Any Aftershows? Any Dirty Mind tour or Controversy tour Shows? I used to own a few on VHS... •the 1983 Pre-Purple Rain 1st ave gig (Wendys first show) •the 1987 Pre-Sign of the Times 1st ave gig •the Undertaker but they all got stolen. along with the above, what else is out there and in what format and quality? (VHS, VCD, DVD?) thanks in advance | |

Uptown has the most complete compiled list I know of in Turn It Up 2.0

wow thanks, i didn't realize there was so much video footage out there...ok let me narrow it down a bit then... My favorite era is the 80s...specifically would like to see... •video from the Dirty Mind, Controversy, 1999 tours. •Rehearsals & Aftershows from any of the 80s tours a well. (Rehearsals from Purple Rain or Sign Of the Times would be great.) •Replace my stolen "1st Ave 1983 (or 84?)" video where they premiered some of the Purple Rain stuff (and Wendy) BTW thanks for the first poster for the link to Uptown...looks like since the lawsuit they are having to 'edit' some of their content on their underground documentation? So should I go ahead and order "Turn It Up 2.0" or should i wait for "The Vault" instead? Will "Turn It Up" have more info that i'm looking for (details regarding the underground boot stuff) than "the Vault"? I just got the impression that the Vault may not have as much details about the boots due to the lawsuit agreement...is that true you think? Thanks again! | |
