NEW ALBUM & TOUR! European tour

IF this Best Of was accompanied by a very nice box-set called Musicology, highlighting all the different musical styles played by Prince over the years, that could be quite interesting.
I'd still rather hear new music, though... | |

I know everyone complaines about everyone complaining on this site...so I'm going to try and not complain...but I have to admit...why would we want another "best of" CD? There is already the 2-CD hits collection...and a "best of" which was released ~2 years ago. I too would MUCH prefer a new CD, not more of the old.
And don't spend too much time complaining about him not touring the US...clearly he is able to sell more tickets in Europe than here...sounds like Hawaii was very empty? Bummer...I was really hoping for a whole new CD (with Musicology) released and promoted by Universal. Oh well! | |

I guess the major difference is what Prince thinks his best is and what Warner's thought.
The last best of was done by Warner with no input from Prince and didn't even include best there was. Prince probably just wants to prove a point to WB by releasing his own Best Of series. All I want is the stuff that never came to fruition: Roadhouse Garden, CB II, CI etc. At this point, I just want something new. **************************************************

Hey, I wasn't bashing, just offering my opinion. Since they were still on the outs at the time of the release, I just didn't think that Prince gave them much input for the release.
