I decided recently that Britney is doing for the Barbie doll what Madonna did for Marilyn Monroe. The scary thing is, 50 years or so down the line, someone is going to try to be that era's Britney Spears.
I can't imagine Prince collaborating with anyone anymore, other than marginally talented young-ish pop artists or middle-of-the-road adult contemporary artists. I think he's willfully painted himself into a corner as far as collaborations are concerned. | |
