why in the hell did Prince "lip sync" part of the (Happy Birtday Mayte) Broadcast when MTV,VH1 & BET were caring it live???

That was his chance.. and he fell flat on his face because.. well who knows why prince loves to bomb when the whole world is watching.. but when they ignore him.. he kicks ass???


More Bombs since he took over his career:

* EVERY Single Release has been Old Folk's R&B???

* Rave Album major push! They even had a Poster of it across the street from TRL! (bomb just average/dumb)

* 1999 Last Performace on PPV with a LIVE feed everywhere! (worst song of the night)


Whoelse is getting a funny feeling about The Rock Hall of Fame!

I don't think the 1996 performance was bad...BUT U need 2 remember what the man was dealing with at THAT very moment...The fact that he still performed is a credit to his work ethic...I know the man was dying inside and I don't know if I could have performed under that mental anguish...
Was Face Down or Come On old folks releases??? They were singles...
The man is not perfect but he's not inept either...I'd like to see him someone challenge him musically but I also believe his mind is more focused on his personal salvation than maybe creating something funky on wax...and is that so wrong?
