The songs to be played at the Family Jamm are...

America, Pop Life, Mountains, Anotherloverholenyohead, Purple Rain, and Baby I'm a Star.

Sheila's band is going to play Alphabet Street, 17 Days and some of her stuff.

Apollonia is singing on Take Me With U.

Jill Jones is singing on Mia Bocca.

Madhouse will be doing 4 songs.

Don't expect to see Morris, Jesse or a few others.

Also, don't expect Prince... but he is supposedly in town, so you never know!

Overall, the show is going to rock. This is the reunion that alot of us have been waiting for since 1986. Hopefully Prince will realize this and pop his head into the show. You don't want to miss this one, let me be the first to tell you that much.
The expanded version of my book PRINCE and The Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions 1983-1984 was released in November 2018. (www.amazon.com/gp/product/1538114623/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0) or www.facebook.com/groups/1...104195943/

Ok...here's the other option...Prince doesn't play at the show...but rather there is an aftershow...and he jams there all night long with various members of the show...yea, I could see that happening...I mean, I WISH I could see that happening.

Prince, come back home to Mpls and let's resume the Friday night PP parties...for ol' times sake?

The Family will also be perfoming a few songs. Expect St. Paul to be dressed in his long polkadot pjs as well.

Regarding the show... it will jam. The songs rock and there is so much energy there. Anyone who is in the area and misses the show will bummed.

OMG I just got back from the show and it was amazing. Prince didn't play but that was his loss. It was so worth it to simply see the Revolution play again. Their version of BABY IM A STAR was full tilt. The entire band and Sheilas band and everyone else joined them on stage and i got shivers. All the things Mandhouseman said were true and then some. Madhouse rocked (with the great Sheila E on drums!), The Family was great, The Time (actually they should have called it half time because Morris didn't show up-supposedly because he wanted to be payed) with Sheila playing the part of Morris, Sheilas band was amazing, and Apollonia sang very well (and she looked great too-take it from me! lol).

Carmen looks like a little barbie doll but I'd eat her for dinner any day of the week.

I am so glad I went. So, who else went?

Also, I saw cameramen on stage. Maybe they were taping it. Did anyone else notice them or was I dreaming when I wrote that.

Time for bed.

Define "Fiasco". Were you there? Then you have no idea about what you are talking about. Why don't you tell everyone how the show was from your seat.

If you weren't there, then pipe down weiner boy.

There were also a lot of people doing their own videotaping and picture taking. I wonder where/when they're going to post? hmm
