if Prince had made the Emancipation album as 1 Cd - then the vault would be even larger and fams would utimately be trying to get their ears on the tracks not included - am i right or what? so Prince was just making it easy on us, by including it all. . . look at it that way. he didn't want to have these tracks added to the list of boots out there - just a thought.

With such a creative, detailed approach, this traclkist really impressed me! The only flaw is the omission of Joint 2 Joint, but then, if it doesn't fit the "SOTT-mirror" thing that BinaryJustin sets up in his tracklist, then it shouldn't b included.

Saying that, though, the thought of no Joint 2 Joint is 2 upsetting 4 me, so maybe I should put it on as a "hidden track"? But how do u make "hidden tracks" when u burn a CD?

The song I always go back to on the Emancipation album is White Mansion - but it didn't fit the template.

Its interesting that most Prince albums do follow a pattern,in that they start off with an uptempo party song and close with a ballad - OR - the other way around...

I really like that album too...it's probably my favorite since Lovesexy...there are some great trax on there. Sure there are some not so great songs too, but that's to be expected on a 3-CD set.

The outtakes from that album are great too...I am the DJ, Feel Good, Emancipation (earlier version).
