prince's guitar playing on rotterdame nighttown was from another world he was incredable.so clean notes,non standard fast playing for prince.he improved quite much on guitar.
yes i know he list to james brown music very much,but this playing is product of something else. i bet he listens to steve vai music. | |

Indeed, the guitarplaying on NightTown and a lot of other
shows from the european leg of the tour is outstanding. Yet, what strikes me most about the NightTown performance is still Renato's playing. Especially the opening instrumentals. His keys on those are just interstellar. It's like he's pushing his whole weight onto those boards and squeezes them for the very last drop of what they have to offer.
