what did prince think of mariah's cover of "beautiful ones"


If they cut dru hill out it may have been a decent cover, IMO.

I actually liked that cover, Dru Hill and all.

I've never heard this, off to a p2p network...

I agree, if it had just been Mariah it actually would've been a good cover, that damn Sisho messed everything up


I think Prince said something to the effect of it was nice but not meant to sung as a duet (maybe his polite way of saying dru hill sucked?)

I like this cover, though it does get tiresome

It was aweful!

They need Mariah & a full music group to "try" to hit Prince's vocal range! But.. couldn't.

Mariah's voice is gone.. she does that (((harmonizing mumble))) on EVERYTHING now to hide that she can't really sing anymore!

The pacing was off.. her voice cracks in the first few lines. The whole vibe is terrible!


It is like a Cheese Grater on my balls!

The only cover I would like see relating to Mariah is a 6ft covering of dirt with her under it after being served the death penalty for murder!

Now that would be a beautiful one!
