I...don't...know.Question...too...damn...impossible.

Probably something from either the celebration 2002 or from
one of the soundchecks of the american/european tour that
followed in 2002/2003.

Some of those performances are amongst my fav Prince moments
ever.

Even quite simple songs like one of the american soundchecks
where he played

"4 The Tears In Your Eyes" [Takumi can I get some tea?]

were simply amazing with this band and this vibe. The song
is so stripped down and the bass is so funky. It's heaven.

The performances at NightTown and Bataclan, or the stuff
that ended up as "C-Note", most notably Osaka & Tokyo.

Maybe some of those Baby I'm A Star jams during the Purple Rain tour...or maybe Days of Wild or maybe Computer Blue on that 8/8/83 tape...

Incredible performance! I wish he would have released his version of the song.

best live has to be : "just my imagination" that guitar solo has to be the best i've ever heard from P. tha's reason enough for me to keep buying crap like NEWS waiting...and waiting...and waiting...for him to get back to working it out like he used to. i know he will he will.

"The Ride", not just specifically for the amazing flow of the song and guitar... but for the incredible closeness I saw his fine finger work on that damn guitar.

Two of my best friends and I were just 10 feet away from his physical essence. I will never forget the affect he had over all three of us, with his profound musical aurora. His internal and facial expressions... like none I have ever seen before, he feels the sound... he is the sound.

For me it had to be Housequake... he had that entire venue dancing... Very, very awesome.

I think 'Forever in my Life' from the 1987 concert film is just stunning. But I dunno, there's just so much 2 choose from.

Wow this is a toughie and one that perhaps someone can help me out with as I don't remember the year or tour. Purple Rain when during the outro he switched into The Little Drummer Boy for a while.

Another one up there is Just My Imagination during the Lovesexy tour.

i think "purple rain" on the lovesexy video, cause not just listening to him is amazing, watching him nearly cry, is just the most beautiful thing ever, a great song, with watching him perform it with all tht emotion on hes face AMAZING

...but the my greatest moment ever was when he played Purple Rain at the Basement in Sydney just recently. He did not play PR at the concert and saved for the Aftershow. It was played just like the original version and everyone in there was at One with music, It was a moving experience.

I've been to over 50 prince shows. The best song? a toss up between...

1. Now! At the Point in Dublin 1995.

2. Peach. Bagleys Warehouse 1993.

3. Empty Room. London 2002.

Why You Wanna Treat Me So bad!! From way back, I never get tired of that, Houston 81 I think, and the New Orleans show also. It put that song in a totaly different light.
