OK - A sensible post this time.

I've always loved the song "Another Lonely Christmas". I know its kinda daggy in places, but I especially like the cool delay on his vocal, particularly near the end. I made a mix of my favourite Prince tunes on MD and it finishes up with Another Lonely Christmas (it starts with Feel U Up and in the middle somewhere I have the extended remix of The Future - its a rockin' mix).

Anyway, I digress... does anyone know if this song is based on any real events, or is it just a weird little Christmas song ?

Is it true that someone made a little friendly bet that Prince could make a song with certain totally different topics.. and make it into a christmas song as well..

and thats how "another lonely christmas" was made???
