I remember a special version of Gold Experience in a gold plastic jewel box w/ a schmancy symbol design on it or somesuch, but I don't remember an extra disc...

I have a copy of this limited / numbered album.

It is Warners / NPG PRO-A-7835

The brown cardboard sleeve has a Gold Experience / sticker on the front and is numbered.

The back of the sleeve has a gold sticker with an article written by Jim Walsh, Pop Music Critic, St. Paul Pioneer Press from January of 1995 praising Prince live performances and the Gold Experience.

Thanks to all for the info on my question. I had already purchased and wanted to make sure I hadn't been a fool. This will make a nice addition to the collection!
