Hands down! He did look amazing... and the way he can dance?! So much attitude! The Billy Jack Bitch sequence was the bomb-diggity. And what was Carmen Electra doing on stage when Mayte was there?! Speaking of Mrs. Navarro, anybody have tickets to Jane's Addiction's current club tour? I saw it last night in Kansas City and it was great! *********************************************************************************************

well you did not miss much because the performances were not that good, and it was kind of sappy (it is oprah afterall). the show at the park west afterwards was incredible, however.

the first one i ever saw was the dirty mind mind blower on SNL.I had no idea he was gonna be on there and it blew me away!!That was such a kick ass thing.I also liked the sott mtv awards and when he sang purple rain on the american music awards and kicked the mike stand over.he looked great and sounded great.it was a triumphant moment .
I also liked the performance on solid gold and he just sat on the kick drum light thing.that was cool.he knew he was bad. "I'm a pig..so,magic elixir I swill"

I was going thru my video collection of various Prince stuff (burning them on DVD, so I don't give the tapes any more wear on them) and I came across various TV performances that I hadn't watched in a while. Some of my faves were the Soul Train episode, the 'Electric Chair' performance from Saturday Night Live and the Rosie O'Donnell fiasco. Just wondering what were some of the faves of the org-ers? Why was Rosie O Donnell a fiasco?

The first SNL appearance was great. Chris Rock Show where he did Face Down was historic. Larry King and BET with Tavis Smiley were two classic interviews. The first Arsenio Hall show appearance was a triumph that people still talk about - was anything ever nastier than that version of Daddy Pop?

love that american bandstand interview. i know shy but damn.. it's almost as if he was angry at the fact that it had taken x years to get a record deal. I also like Dinner With Dolores on Letterman when he ends saying "free TLC" and exits before Letterman makes his way to him. Dave is then standing on stage holding the bag.. classic. DL is a truly gifted man. Oprah. Emancipation is my absolute fave. She interviews him at Paisley Park and discusses everything from his wardrobe, to his marriage to Mayte. He did Dolphin on Letterman and acted out the suicide at the end with Mayte dresses as an angel. Great Prince shit! The guitar solo kicked ass and you just cant lose with what is probably the best rock song Princ ever wrote

Damn - you cant beat the 85 Grammies (I would die for u) or the AMA (Purple Rain) - everything Prince did onstage at that period was amazing

You could tell the interview was gruelling for him because she was trying to be her usual "overly cute" self, and ended up making him wish he'd never agreed to appear on her show. The perfomances were fantastic, but she shouldn't have tried so hard to be "cute" with him. If I want your opinion, I'll beat it outta ya!
