prince bootleg brainiacs

hey--
a steady collector of boots (video and audio)

is there someone who is somewhat of a "baby i'm a star" snob that can rate each version that exsists on the bootleg circut?

the ones i'm knowledgeable in are

BIAS-live at dc (vid) (@@@1/2) the video version that he gave to mtv. pretty much the creme de la creme of bandleading.

BIAS-live at ATL night one (vid)(@@@1/2) man--for eons i thought that it got no better than the dc version that i've known for 18 years---but to my surprise he surpassed the energy with more "good gods" and "on the ones" and just straight up band tricks.

BIAS-live at ATL night two (vid) (@@@) hands down his most (well to my knowledge--which is why im posting this to see if there are better versions) supreme version. no "25 hits" this time around. but he pretty much works the shit outta those guys. the over the topness of this show (and what makes this a 1/2 better than the night that went before is that he danced way harder this night and he fell off the piano and still bounced back like nothing happened. i also hear him chastise the band for missing a "good good" cause during the sheila e./woo woo woo woo/anydogs in the house part---the groove was too good...and lighthearted (prince was heckling someone sort of like he did to the critic in the audience during the miles paisley park new years show)---clearly in the zone.

BIAS-long beach cali night one (vid) (@@@1/2) i wish i woulda seen this version first. although rockin', he abbreviated this version and concentrated more on the horn solos than the stop on the dimeisms.

BIAS-first ave PR tour rehersals (aud) (@@1/2) obviously the first time they started flirting with jamming past the traditional ending but---for a starting point...not bad...but clearly not the monster it would turn out to be some months from now

BIAS-syrcuse ny (vid) (@@@) i was so dissapointed that he went straight to the congo line shtick (part where everybody joins in a cha cha line)--this is on the released video version---and at this point my only reference for this song beside the hard as hell to find video version of the song (didn't see video version til like 1997)---im a sucker for the stop on the dime "good gods"

BIAS-minnapolis school for deaf benifit show (vid) (@@) pretty much did the album version. whole show was about hour long, so they cut alot out (kids in the crowd).

BIAS- lst show of PR in miami florida (@@1/2) for the last show of the tour i thought he would break out the ATL fireworks. instead he stops jam altogether to try something less exciting (sheila plays timbale on 2 and 4, bobby kick on the 1 and 3)---aight..but not how i wanted the song to end.

so all you experts out there...are there other versions out there in exsistance? school me on what to look for--or, if there are any other band excersize songs they tear up (america live at first ave parade tour rehersal is stellar, as is the too brief DMSR done at first avenue during the PR soundtrack recordings in june of 83)

thanks.

Considering the fact that he has included this song in full, or part since 1984 on Purple Rain Tour, Nude Tour.Diamonds and Pearls, Act I, Act II, Jam Of The Year,New Power Soul Tours,Hit N Run Tours - I'd say that it's been done TOO many times.

"don't forget the unreleased studio version ..."

If I was talking about the live version on the album would it still qualify as being 'unreleased' ? I think not.

There is a studio version.

what was incredible is if you pay attention to bobby, evertytime prince "stopped on the one", bobby had to stop playing, manually hit the machine, and then start again on "good gawd". EVERYTIME, incredible
