Forgive this thread Please don't go crazy on me. I was recently at my Sam Goody in NYC, purchasing the new Alicia Keys album. When the cashier ask me to look on the coming soon list to see if I wanted to reserve something. I saw a release date for an upcoming Prince album. Which one is this?

Good question - N.E.W.S is long past "coming soon" status, and we've heard no word about any new albums. There was recently talk of a 7-CD boxset entitled The Chocolate Invasion, but it was supposedly only for sale through NPGMC. | |

There is nothing of a Prince-like nature on the online "Coming Soon" list.

It was there on their reservation sheet. I guess I'll go back and ask the salesperson. (They usually don't know squat. Some of those 16-18 year olds don't even know anything about Prince.) | |
