Drop Ronnie Talk To Russia completely and replace it with either 'Theres Something I Like About Being Your Fool' or 'Broken'. ...and what would Be the changes u make 4 the New Album from Prince in 2004 compared 2 the previous ones! |

It is purely a fantasy album, my own 'what if...?' if you will.
It's a 'what I personally would have changed' kind of thing. It's also a 'what if instead of just outright rejecting Crystal Ball, WB instead simply said they thought it needed a little more work'. The album may then have been delayed into the time that Prince assembled the SOTT tour band. And therefore he may have decided to re-record some of the tracks using the live band setup. Then the album may not have been completed until Feb '87 and who knows, maybe it would have looked more like what I've described above. Only one key change?  The whole 90's catalog is in serious need of remodeling. On Gold Experience, I would:
1. Replace We March with Days Of Wild (as soladeo1 said) 2. Include original cuts of Endorphinmachine and Most Beautiful Girl 3. Cut off most segues 4. Add Ripopgod and Hide The Bone 5. Release first Dolphin then 319 as singles (definetely have great potentail) and promote them I can't remember my baby's voice cuz she ain't talkin' no more | |

***Remove the songs "P Control" and "We March" from TGE,in order to make room for stronger,better songs like "Hide The Bone","Ripopgodazippa" and "Days Of Wild". ***Edit 'Emancipation' down to a kickass 2-CD set,removing the weaker tracks like "La Da Da","We Gets Up",the lame title track and the four remakes. ***On the 'Controversy' album,shorten the title track and "Do Me Baby" in order to make room for "She's Just A Baby". ***On ATWIAD,remove the weak song "Tambourine" in order to make room for the superior "She's Always In My Hair". ***Remove the chaotic song "The Sacrifice Of Victor" from the Love Symbol CD,leaving "Three Chains O Gold" as the final track.This way,there would have been room for the other segues that got left behind. ***The song "Heaven" should have made it onto 'Parade',even if it means removing one of other tracks,like "Life Can Be So Nice"."Heaven" could have been played at the end credits of the film instead of "Mountains".
