I think ONA Budokan & the 1st Avenue 83 concert are pretty damn hard 2 beat. Anyone know any other classics?

prince fucking carmen elektra at paisley park studios in studio B while prince hid a video camera behind the computers. that was a pretty sweet boot!!!

Its 2 tough 4 me seeing I have all the great ones worth having ...this was my thing more even then collecting cds...But the Dirty Mind Stuff And Controversy stuff up 2 say 1999tours 4 me R my true real classic joys. But wow some solid Parade Lovesexy, Gold Experience. JOTY or ONA Japan...this leaving out all aftershows warm-ups etc...I love them all man...seing they come in handy depending on my viewing and listening needs...dig?

But 4 me, the 84 warehouse rehearsal is the stuff: just by virtue of the fact u are watching it AT ALL makes it really bloody special.

Quality aint that hot, but hell...it's Prince's very own recording! (he even walks over 2 the camera at the end of the rehearsal and turns the camera off himself!)

at the 1st Prince Bday party/convention that was not a Bday party, even though...anyways...

during the tour of Paisley, my girlfriend and i kind of
st(r)ayed behind the pack a bit.

actually shot some hoops on his court, but the thing i will never forget and partially regret that i am not evil enough to take advantage of is:

we sat down in the dark video room with the stars allover the place...and on the shelf under the TV was a VHS tape.

it had no label on it whatsoever...no writing at all.

AAAGGGHHH!!! and it was just sitting there. in this very dark room, that we were alone in. perhaps, forgotten. perhaps a trap

reguardless...i will never know what was on that tape because i am too damn (dumbass) honest. my girl, on the other hand...she would have walked away with it in a second if it were not for me. AGGGHHH!!!

but i'm over it

it was probably just some ol' reruns of Sanford and Son...or...that Carmen Electra video mentioned above. yeah...just that, no big deal. like i said- i'm over

I know someone who worked at Paisley Park in the early 90s and he was in the parking lot by Prince's car and Prince had a cassette tape sitting on his seat with all kinds of song titles listed on the case...possibly unreleased jams. He thought of grabbing it, but he decided not to because he didn't want to risk losing his job.

If it was me, I'd have to admit that I'd grab it, run home and copy it and then mail back the original to Paisley Park or leave it somewhere where they would find it quickly..no telling what gems could have been on that tape.
