God, they ignore one of his best albums in recent years, Rainbow Children and they notice a crap album like N.E.W.S...well thats the Grammys for you! I don't think "N.E.W.S" was total crap or don't adore TRC (although it it very good and deserves a nod over something like Ashanti) but it is all about catogeries. Prince got lucky. It certaintly doesn't have anything to do with NEWS being better than TRC! I still hope he wins. | |

No, it won't be on T.V. It will be at the pre-televised part. Unless they make a rare exception, but I doubt it. Whether P will show is anybody's guess. | |

This is a marvellous moment. If Prince wins, he'll show every one is not only another singer/dancer/commercial (he is seen most of times like Madonna, MJ, and nowadays J Timberline and things like that), he'll show he's a real musician. | |

Great, now everyone is gonna rave about how good it was
while they talked shit about it. People will install elevators in their house just to listen to this album. Seriously, I think it's a great album and theses props are well deserved. I hadn't expected him to be able to get a nomination for anything in his current niche of pop outkast. Shows that there is some hope left out there. I hope it wins. Perhaps he'll get pushed to release more instrum stuff [don't freak people]. I want C-Note on cd. YESTERDAY! and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |

i was glad to hear about his nomination, and i hope he wins. i very seldom watch the grammy's because they give the awards to people that really don't deserve them.just because N.E.W.S.is nominated i still think the CD sucks. | |

This is great  ... I haven't heard NEWS yet but i am sure that it is good enough, no..Great enough..Prince definitely deserves this, But not just for NEWS..All of his work.They need to give Prince the ultimate grammy that awards him for all of the work he has done all the way from "For You" in '78 to the present which is NEWS. I hope Prince wins! If not, I am also going to be  Peace and Be Wild!!
