Remember the first clip that Prince ever had on the site? It was much more experimental and tripped out. Then he did the typical put a Prince groove on top of it, weakend the freak factor and edited the language.

Agreed. That original sample was WAY funkier...but the released version is pretty damn hott, too. Back that fucka up, cuz he got plenty noise...I think it's silly that he changed Sadomasochistic to Sado-Kiss This or whatever the fuck he says, but I just pretend he's saying sadomasochistic and leave it at that. Leave it to Prince to come up with one of the coolest titles of his career and then fuck it up in religion-induced guilt, ugh. No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. I'm listening to my dl from the club and it sounds like he's still singing "sado masochistic groove" at the start of the song, although it does change to "sado maso kiss this groove" later. I haven't heard the first version, and I definitely want to - was it the full song or just a sample?
