Unreleased Album Projects

Does anyone (Boris?) have a definative list of unreleased album projects for Prince/associated artists? Not compilations of unreleased stuff ie Crstal Ball II or Roadhouse Garden, but stuff that has been specifically written for, or assembled into an album.

Not necessarily those that have received cat numbers and limited pressings, but those that have been floated, recorded and then shelved.

So far off the top of my head I've got:

The Rebels
Camille
The Flesh sessions
The Dream Factory
Crystal Ball
Rave Unto The Joy Fantastic
The Margie Cox sessions
Corporate World
Rosie Gaines album
Nona Gaye album
Madrid 2 Chicago

Any more I've missed?

Madhouse 24 (1988)
Madhouse 24 (1993)

This topic has always interested me. I'd love to hear more from Paisley Park about some of these albums. There are others which were being worked on, but I don't know if they were ever 'albums':

The Tora Tora Experience
New World (techno album)
Heart (blues album)

How did the MC Flash project differ from the Margie Cox project? Wasn't MC Flash a faux band Prince created using Margie as lead vocalist?

I want to find out more about Brass Monkey. I think nothing more is really known than the name and that the sessions were instrumental, possibly using tracks from Madhouse's 24 (1988) and 26 albums, developing into Eric Leeds' Times Squared album. Is this true? What else (if anything) is known?

Margie Cox's unreleased album was an extension of the
earlier MC Flash project. It's not known exactly which MC Flash
songs were still included on the album when it was decided to
drop the 'MC Flash' monika and just go with Margie's name.
The Margie Cox album was completed though, and the first
single (Standing At The Altar) was pressed up in 1991, but
then shelved. It surfaced 3 years later on the 1-800-NEW-FUNK
album.

Prince and Eric Leeds started work on the 'Brass Monkey'
project in 1991. They felt that the music they were making
wasn't really like the previous 'Madhouse' albums (even though
it was still jazz influenced instrumentals) so they decided to
come up with a new name for their 'band'... and 'Brass Monkey'
was born. It didn't contain any old Madhouse material, and the
only known track recorded for the project was called 'Boom
Box'. From what I heard, they only got as far as recording a
few tracks for the project before it was shelved.

Hmmm, I do have a CD-single 'Standing at the altar', but it came out with the 1-800-NEW-FUNK album..
and concerning 'New world'...I own a 12" of this (techno-stylish as it is) Is this rare?

The Standing At The Altar CD single was issued as a single from 1800 New Funk yes, but I think it was promo-ed in 1991 (can anyone confirm?)

And you have a 12" of New World from Emancipation? Never heard of that - is it official?

'Standing At The Altar' was pressed up for a single release
originally in 1991, the B-side was 'Whistlin' Kenny'. It had a
picture cover of Margie dressed in white on a white background
kinda leaning back (reminds me a bit of the cover to Ingrid
Chavez' Hippy Blood single). This was shelved and was never
officially released. It was officially released (with a new cover)
in 1994 to promote the 1-800-NEW-FUNK album. This time
'Whistlin' Kenny' wasn't included as a b-side, '17' by Madhouse
was used instead (it also included an 'Extended Version' of
Standing At The Altar as well.

I can't understand why the Margie Cox single wasn't a hit. I remember the video being played quite a lot on TV.
