i think his best unreleased song is "open book" a very strong number and a mystery that it has never been released. "electric intercourse" is another strong song.

I like all previous suggestions.

I think All My Dreams is like some bizarre pinacle of Prince, where he reached as high as he could with the sound he was going for then.

But then that was just one phase, he's had tons of phases.

There are a lot of out-takes that compared to the released songs from the period (minus our familiarity with those released songs) that you can see why they were unreleased. Either they didn't fit what he was going for at the time, or they just aren't all that hot.

I think most of his best work, he released, but there are lots that slipped through the net.

From what I've heard so far.

To me, "All My Dreams" sounds like something he would have written for Barry Manillow.

Paradigm---why they didn't do a track like this when GC was on his label? It bumps.

If he'd have dropped 'Do Yourself A Favor' back in '84 or '85 it'd have ruled the pop charts. Unbelievably catchy pop tune.

That song is fierce. Hard guitar solo, killer chorus, prince in his nasty voice, it's just awesome. WAY funkier than Open Book, but hey, if you're into slow numbers, then I spose it's great.

I dont get it. These songs are quite underwhelming to me. Dance Devil sounds like such a throwaway and something he did in 1 hour etc

He has so many bad-assed jams, jams that he has probably even forgotten.. songs that were nothing more than musical exercises. Dance With The Devil is an amazing song. Climax is a monster groove from the 1999/Purple Rain era, There are just too many..
