I THOUGHT SHE WAS ANNOYING AS HELL ON THE SCANDALOUS SEX SUITE.

:PIMP:

And she continues to be equally as annoying on this embarrassing, overproduced sub-Janet Jackson pap which is not worth the privilege of anybody's time.

And Prince's involvement is highly questionable. In fact I doubt whether Prince had anything at all to do with this mess.

I would say it remains "hidden" for a million reasons, none of them good.

In fact, someone should have tied the master tape to a ton of steel and dumped it into the deep blue sea.

He didn't have anything to do with making this bootleg available, no. I haven't heard a lot of these, but if the rest of them are as bad as her singing on "Soul Psychedelicide", then I feel sorry for the poor schmuck that won this auction. ill

Everyone knows she was having an orgasm during her "vocal" part.

Actually, it is loosely connected to Prince, bearing in mind the bogus Jam and Lewis-flavoured production which, by the time 1990 arrived, was hopelessly dated.

It bears all the hallmarks of a vanity project that Kim just wanted pumping out of her convertible at high decibels, and definitely not meant for release.

I've had these tracks for a long time, and I have to say that
I'm now pretty convinced that this album has no Prince
involvement whatsoever. It just doesn't sound like a 'Prince'
production. It doesn't have that 90's Prince sound that all
his other projects had around that time (Batman, Time Waits
For No One etc.). Also, none of the tracks on the album have
ever been reworked for other artists or surfaced in 'Prince
vocal demo' form elsewhere.

I've no doubt this is 'a' long lost Kim Basinger album, and I'm
sure she did at least start work on an album with Prince, but
I don't think this is it. (also, she doesn't sing on Soul Psycho-
delicide, it's just the 3 existing circulating versions of the track)

You have to say at least the booklet is pretty cool. It's the only reason I keep the wretched thing in my collection smile

True.
(that and the outside possibility that Prince did have some
kinda involvement... which I'd put odds of 100-1 on)

Thank you Boris for giving some credence to quelling this rumour. It's almost as annoying as the Purple Rain 2LP rumour.

Now then, anyone who actually produced this album?!
