Let me tell u what I might do? So has anyone here made out the lyrics? Beautiful little song, "contemplating suicide from 12 oclock til dawn" I can hear but the rest is unclear. Anyone help? | |

It is not an outtake per se, since it isn't circulating as either a studio demo or a finished version. Your chance to hear it is as a rehearsal. Check out the piano rehearsal # 2 from 1983, and you will hear Prince singing what sound like very tentative lyrics at that stage.
