There has never been an official word from anyone that Mani is pregnant. The rumour started last winter, but obviously she was not pregnant then or she would've delivered by now. As it stands right now, I don't believe she is pregnant.

Mani must have been pregnant 15 times in the last 2 years if you go by every "well I heard Mani's going to have a baby" misinformation and rumors that are constantly regurgitated.

Some bozo on alt.music.prince said a few months ago that he KNEW FOR A FACT that Mani & Prince's baby had been born and when people challenged the veracity of his announcement, he said the info from a "very very reliable source" close to Prince, insinuating the information he'd gotten was either from a band member or close friend of Prince's...but guess what? That 'insider knowledge' was a pile of bullshit too and amounted to absolutely nothing, just like all the other rumors regarding this subject.

Mani is now in her third year of pregnancy. Her unborn child has been tested from the womb, and although the sex has yet to be determined, the brood has been identified as a musical prodigy and will be producing Prince's next album.

to be honest i saw a "quote" from bbc ceefax with michael eavis saying this. now the quote may have been wrong, but he was definately quoted as saying prince did not want to play cos his wife was pregnant! obviously the quote was wrong or prince gave a phoney excuse!
