Prince & LaToya Jackson? I heard that once upon a time Prince was interested in LaToya. Is this true? And does anyone have a pic of them?
They'd have made such a cute couple. If it doesn't fit, it's ugly anyway.

I heard and read that he had a crush on LaToya and was flirting with her when he had dinner with her, Michael, and Janet

Janet and LaToya at the same table, and he flirts with LaToya? If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

Janet and LaToya at the same table, and he flirts with LaToya? This was way back in the early 80's when Janet was till a little chubby. Janet was a huge fan of his too. LaToya had that "look"

Yeah, Janet was only about 17, too.

LaToya mentioned in an interview that Prince asked her out for a date in 1978,but she declined."It was around the time he had that song "Soft and Wet",she said.According to her,Prince was upset that she turned him down."Years later,he saw me and my family at a restaurant and he just walked by and didn't say anything".Still,LaToya remains a big fan.In 1984,she recorded a cover of his song "Private Joy".

*shudders at thought of Latoya's "Private Joy"* She really butchered that. LaToya has recorded some of the absolute worst music in history. You have to download these songs because they are so bad that they are hilarious: "He Is My Brother" and "Somewhere".
"He Is My Brother" is just too funny for words. It's a song about Michael, and at this one part, out of nowhere, the music from Michael's "Bad" starts playing and LaToya exclaims, "He's NOT bad!" LMAO! I'm serious! Here are the lyrics: You may say he's electric I will admit that he's quite different You may say he does crazy things (OhOhOh!) He works hard for the money that he brings Bad and Thriller, he's still the Man in The Mirror 'Cause he's good to ME! and I know... and I know yes i know that he loves me so 'Cause he is my brother Whenever he has to he's handy 'Cause he is my brother (He's my brother) He gives me emotion in plenty When I'm alone... ...and I need him He's with me like lightning 'Cause he is my brother and I love and I love yes i love him so He-He-He's not bad! (He's not bad!) Out on stage he's electric When he dances it's just like magic And you know when he starts to sing (OhOhOh!) He is reaching the world with his music

Yes,LaToya has done some embarassing songs.Remember her 1984 single "Heart Don't Lie"?
"don't try to hide it with words that just aren't true it's showing in your eyes and I feel it,and so do you" And then there was her single "Hot Potato",featuring the oh-so-catchy chorus "I'm gonna drop you like a Hot,Hot Potato...if you don't stop messin' around" And let's not even mention her 1998 collabaoration with Full Force "You're Gonna Get Rocked"

I could totally see how Prince would've been attracted to her back then. She did have that "look". Long black curly hair, exotic eyes, tan skin...yup. Just screams what Prince likes. "You got a new man? Is he fine? Does he have a better ass than mine? Didn't think so.."

She wrote a page or two about Prince in her autobiogrophy. Suuposedly, she and he met while roller-skating in 1978 and, as she reports, he acted weird and she acted like a virgin. She also didn't miss to mention how short he appeared to her. ______________

Lol! I've never heard of that one, before! I'll have to find the lyrics.

Hmm, I just looked for the lyrics, and apparently it's not about Mike. I haven't heard the song, but the lyrics aren't good, but they're not horrendous, as it was written by LA Reid, Babyface, Left Eye, and Jermaine.
"Word to the Badd" written by L.A. Reid, Babyface, Daryl Simmons, Jermaine Jackson, and Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes (1991) performed by Jermaine Jackson What up yo, word to the badd! lmao I gave my love You gave your love Thought we`d never part Said you loved me Then you left me With a broken heart You never think about who you love You only think about number one You forgot about where we started from You only think about what you want You don`t care about how it`s done You only think about you, your throne Be it right or be it wrong It ain`t about your world It ain`t about the things that you do If you don`t care, I don`t care `Cause you keep thinkin` about you It ain`t about you takin` my pie You been takin` for a long time If you don`t care, I don`t care If you keep Well I ain`t thinkin` about you Word up yo, word to the badd Once you were made You changed your ways Even told me lies Could not trust you Still I loved you My mind worried overtime You know I tried to be there for you Like a lover I cared for you It didn`t matter you always play me off You only care about what you want You don`t care about how it`s done You only think about you, your throne Be it right or be it wrong HOOK Oh no no, I ain`t thinkin` about you Oh no What up yo, word to the badd Thinkin` about that pie that you`ve been takin` from me From a lover to another lover hard to believe Lost and don`t know it yet you still show it Givin` seems to be harder than it is to receive The glass has gotten shady when it should have been clearer But it`s you always starin` in the mirror Constantly fakin` it ain`t no mistakin` it Get a grip `cause you`re not far from breakin` it Thinkin` about the time when we used to be close It shouldn`t be a past tense `cause nobody knows What the future may hold, what tomorrow might bring It`s not guaranteed that you`ll be spreadin` your wings And funny it seems how it used to be Times when you needed to lean on me Now you`re standin` on two and you wanna act now Girl I ain`t thinkin` about you Gone too far Ya better turn back I know who you are You know where I`m at Sad but it`s true From me to you Pick up the phone Don`t be alone Step off the throne Come back home Reminds me of Vanilla Ice; "Word to yo' mother!"

Yes,Jermaine's song "Word 2 The Bad" was about Michael. It created a little controversy.Jermaine released it in the fall of 1991,around the same time that Michael released his own single "Black Or White".Even Janet was pissed at Jermaine."I didn't like his song and I told him so",she said at the time.
The ironic thing is,Mike really should have listened to what his brother was saying in the song. It's not really a "put-down" song,he was just trying to tell Michael the truth.
