Question About the Song "Peace"

I downloaded the Prince song "Peace" when I got it as part of my NPGMC membership, and I have a question about it. Does anybody know who those guys are in the beginning and end of the song who are cracking up laughing? At the end of the song, I can hear someone making a comment, and it sounds like Jimmy Jam's voice. Does anybody know who these dudes are?
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

It's Johnny Blackshire, Morris Hayes and you can hear Prince a couple of times too.
Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council.

Lyrical transcription at:

(It's Morris hayes you hear who is jokingly mocking the moniker, 'the artist formerly known as Prince.)

I thought it was Prince doing snaggle voice. Also, I thought it was the Time. It sounds like them and also, the style of singing sounds like the Timel. Plus, I thought Peace was to be on the Corporate Life Album that the Time never put out.

Its definitely Prince doing the main snaggly voice, joking around and stuff. Kip, Kirk, Morris Hayes, etc are in the backround, laughing.

Thanks for the correction about Johnny Blackshire.

(There's an Uptown and dtt reference that needs correcting too by the looks of it.)
