The Aladdin DVD Ok, I bought this the other day and checked it out. It was surprisingly good. It seems he still knows how to "work it".
The audience didn't really seem to be involved much. I noticed he kept talking shit to them. "I'm-a kick yawz tail (TAIL???)". Also for 4,000 people, there was alot of space between people (unless the place is overly huge?)... It was good, though. He still over-utilizes horns. You agree/disagree? I've reversed the polarity of the neutron flow... Now to find a way to exterminate Melody Cool and Rosie Gaines...

Whole lot of love kicked ass.
And he dropped that "I'm gonna kick yalls" line at all the ONA shows. He does it alot In Tampa for the "Jam of the Year" tour...he said... "Tampa, you gonna get yo ass kicked tonight!" And then for the Lakeland ONA show he said something similar to the Aladdin line. He usually backs that threat up though...  | |

Oh yeah, I left out the "promotion" bits...
"If you like this jam, yaw, Go get ONA!" Or the commercial for NPGMC? He's singing a jingle, lol... I never thought I'd see Prince pushing a product so openly. However, as I grow older, I do realize that $$$ makes the world go around. I am having to develop more of a "Business" attitude, myself... So I guess it's an age thing. My one major gripe, apart from the obvious poor picture quality, is that the end credits are played over 'Sometimes It Snows In April'. That gets me so angry.
Also, why is 'The Ride' only selectable as an 'extra'?! You're right about him overusing the horns. "London, i've adopted a name that has no pronounciation.... is that cool with you?"

Y'all are so funny. I've seen some of the worst Black English on the planet being written/spoken on this board. "1+1+1=3 "be" very funky" "Yaw" Hahahaha! I'm sorry, I'm really not trying to be mean. Now I know how my Spanish speaking friends feel when people try really hard to speak Spanish. It sounds REALLY funny. Ok, y'all really are cute and I meant no harm.
