I look at it as an interesting and positive change after New Power Soul Festival in 1998. 555-4444 you're on coffee talk.

Friends of mine who listened to Melbourne said to me that this Tour doesn't bring anything new to the world of Prince's live performances... There are no kings on this Earth, only Princes

Hell, I WISH I could have seen a tour as "bad" as Nude... No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.

some have been outstanding, some have been earthmoving, some have been mind blowing but basically you could stand him in a dark corner reciting the alphabet and I would be happy!!!
I saw this tour (for want of a better word as it was just a couple of gigs) as being a touching base with Australian fans seeing what songs gained best reaction etc etc in a decade starved nation!!! and just getting out there and playing music. No fancy stage sets, no real story, no big glitz and glamour, a couple of costume changes and all about the music. Not a huge amount of crowd interaction apart from the music connection. In some ways more enjoyable in other ways not, just different and isn't that what we all love about him so much, just different. The biggest difference for me was his up close and personal with the fans, sound checks, aftershows etc etc. Most accessible he has ever been and I been seeing the tours since 1986!!! This was Prince the musician, not the performer, not the entertainer purely and simply the musician. In the distance a light shines and I know it is mine. Someday I will touch it because it calls me. It says cross the line, cross the line. I know everything is not always what it seems, so I pinch myself daily just in case it's a dream
