From The Latest Uncut Magazine

I was reading this months Uncut magazine and there was a review for the new Basement Jaxx album. Knowing they were fans of Prince (and also to see if the album was any good as they are one of the few very good dance bands around), I gave the article a read. There was a small interview with Simon Radcliffe at the end were he describes being a big fan of Prince and their admiration for his music. He also says that their manager had tried to get in touch with Prince to see if he'd guest on one of their new songs but he couldn't get past the wall of secretaries.

I think it's a big pity that Prince is missing opportunites like this to show the world that he's still around, making great music.

Any thoughts???

I would love to hear Basement Jaxx work with Prince, or the guys doing some mixes.

Imagine an Basement Jaxx remix album of Prince songs!

Such a shame Prince turned his back on electronic music and house.
