I really love the way he moves in the little red corvette video where during the guitar break he moves sideways to the end of the stage and does the split and returns just in time to sing the next verse. BEAUTIFUL.

My all time favourite has to be his performance of Housequake off the 'Sign o the Times' movie. From that thing he does when he throws his leg over the mike and does the splits, to his sliding across the the ground during the "ooh what was that? aftershock!"

Show this to someone that hasn't seen this and watch their facial expressions. Classic.

"Little Red Corvette" is classic -- but some of his best dance moves (and very unique for him) are in the "Thieves In The Temple" video.

I don't know about his best dance move but my favorite is when he does that Bill-Cosby-Jello-pudding-picka-boo during "Baby I'm A Star". Cracks me up at the end of "Purple Rain". Actually, Cosby probably stole it from Prince!

Every dance routine he does is great. His best would probably be at the end of the movie, Purple Rain during the encore.

Without a doubt for me, it was Housequake in SOTT. That is just a classic. That song and that whole concert is exactly why I miss the Prince SHOWS. Although I enjoy the Prince "performances" like the ONA tour, I would take, SOTT, LoveSexy, The Purple Rain Tour, D & P Tour, etc., anyday. Prince was never given enough credit for his dancing ability IMO.

Too bad it looks like his dancing days are over.

Prince's dances generally stink, but his spontaneous stage moves are fairly entertaining.

i thought it was a james brown move? im sure brown does it, maybe not licking himself but with the whole hands over body and shuffling and stuff.

ill take your word for it! but i do know he does the baby steps! i have it on dvd, he does the steps then falls forward, up into splits then up again. its really cool as hes like 47 at the time!
