Prince Covers that You Like or Would Like to Hear I know that no other version can compare to one of his originals, but what are some of your favorite Prince covers?
My favorite is "If I Was Your Girlfriend", by TLC. I'm sure that you guys are aware of all of these, but here are the ones that I know of. Many kinda just plain suck: Nothing Compares 2 U - Sinead O'Connor Darling Nikki - Foo Fighters When Doves Cry - Quindon Tarver Purple Rain - Leann Rimes The Beautiful Ones - Mariah Carey How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore - Alicia Keys When Doves Cry - Ginuwine Shhh - Tevin Campbell Purple Rain - Leann Rimes Kiss - Tom Jones I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man - Jordan Knight Yes... most of those are cringe inducing, I must say. Now, which covers would you be interested in hearing? I would like to hear Janet Jackson do a version of "Come", "Soft and Wet", or "She Gave Her Angels".

Kiss - Age of Chance
Peach - Rod Stewart I Would Die 4 U - Space Cowboy and I'm sure Adore was covered by some second rate male solo artist in the early 90s which scraped into the UK top 40 but I can't for the life of me think of his name. I can only think Robbie Neville (of C'est la vie 'fame') but I'm sure it wasn't him!!

Have you heard Prince & Lenny Kravitz doing Are You Gonna Go My Way!! In the distance a light shines and I know it is mine. Someday I will touch it because it calls me. It says cross the line, cross the line. I know everything is not always what it seems, so I pinch myself daily just in case it's a dream

It was Joe Roberts - I first heard this on Pebble Mill and didn't realise this was a Prince song as Sign O' The Times was the only album I hadn't bought yet!
