Prince-the Hits on VHS I'm interested in buying Prince-the Hits on VHS. I have 2 questions:
1:Is it music videos or concert footage? 2:Is it worth buying? If it doesn't fit, it's ugly anyway. | |

It's a compilation of his music videos, LaCoyta.  And, at a reasonable price...($10-$15)...yes, sure.

It's mainly the videos, 'I would die 4 u' is a live performance.
It's a good set for beginners, but it doesn't offer any surprises/extras. Also the DVD hasn't got any special features. @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

It's worth getting if you haven't seen many of his

Is there any reason you don't want the DVD? Just wondering . . .
I had the VHS for almost 10 years, and then just broke down and got the DVD a few months ago. Nothing new on the DVD, I just prefer that format now . . . |

You could also find The Hits on Laserdisc if you look hard enough. But DVD would be the way to go now. Who the hell uses laserdiscs anymore anyway? 
Anyways, the only live footage on that video would be the live performance of "I Would Die 4 U" from the Purple Rain tour. Great performance too. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE. | |
