4get it guy's, tryin 2 help just aint worth the bother ! just returned from hmv in glasgow
all echo and the bunnymen albums have just been re-issued by w/b re-mastered with additional tracks demos etc !!! the reason bunnymens 25th anniversary ! firstly i'm a bunnymen fan, and ive got all the f**kin albums an i'm gonna have 2 buy em all again ! after buying the 4 disc box last year £45.00 as well !!!. well on2 ol princey boy now ! its been rumoured on here all p's albums would b re-issued, re-mastered with additional tracks etc,etc.possibly next year as a 20th anniversary tribute 2 PR. but its his 25th anniversary 2, so if warners think they can sell bunnymen re-masters ,i'm sure they think they can sell prince re-masters. and 2 add fuel 2 the flames ...as i'm sure there will b flames ! bunnymen fans dont b offended pls i'm one o u's remember ! ...but surely worldwide warners would sell more prince re-masters than bunnymen re-masters no ??? surely the sign's r there 4 these albums after all no ??? it would make perfect sense both artists masters owned by w/b both artists 25 year anniversary's or do u think prince has already f**ked this idea up and its still only pie in the sky after all !!! Let me get this straight - the WB reissue rumors may have some basis in fact because you think so.
The WB albums cannot be reissued without Prince's co-operation. If he says no reissue WB cannot overrule him. What WB/Echo & The Bunnyman release has no bearing on Prince/WB's relationship. | |

I'm sure WB would LOVE to remaster Prince's back catalogue
and sell it all to the public again... but it's not their decision to make. Only time will tell if an agreement has been reached that is acceptable and beneficial to both parties. All we can do is hope (...and it is looking quite promising). | |

Some times people start a post on the org & make it look like it is a source of information only to have it be nothing more then speculation. This can be annoying.
The problem is how to make people stop doing this. You can nicely ask them to control themselves & only start a post when they have some facts. This seldom works. Another way is to make a big deal of their post. Embarrass them. Rant & rave at them. Belittle them. All of this in the hopes of reaching inside their tiny little minds & getting the message thru so that maybe maybe maybe next time they think of posting "Info on New Prince CD",when they have no new info, it may stop them from wasting everyones time. I just thought that may help put some perspective on human nature & how things work around here. | |
